No matter where you are located, you can enroll for any training with us - because all our training sessions are delivered online by live instructors using interactive, intensive learning methods.
Eurocode is a set of ten European standards which inherently specify how structural designs of buildings and such structures should be created. Developed by the European Committee for Standardization, they have a set a global benchmark for structural designing and development all over the world. These standards provide a basis for construction and engineering contract specifications along with a framework for the creation of synchronized technical specifications in building products. Eurocode 2 is one of the ten standards which deals with the design of concrete structures and specifies technical rules and features for the design and development of concrete, reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete structures. The rules and regulations of Eurocode 2 are based on the limit state design philosophy. Eurocode 2 is intended to incorporate a number of aspects of design norms such as structural design, actions on structures, construction products, execution for concrete structures, geotechnical design, design of structure in seismic regions and more.
This Eurocode online design course for building designers provides in-depth knowledge of Euro 2 norms and how they can be implemented to develop fail safe and damage safe buildings and structures. The trainees will be taught about the design of basic reinforced concrete structures taking Eurocode 2 norms as the basis of design. This Eurocode 2 design course also provides a comparison between the Eurocode 2 norms and BS8110 norms and how their application results in different kinds of structures. Through this course, trainees will explore the various aspects of materials, flexures, shearing properties and column designs. Connected aspects such as traffic loading and bridge design through Eurocode and pre-cast, plain and lightweight concrete provisions will also be talked about. To successfully complete this course it is expected that the trainees have a working knowledge of civil engineering and structural design.
Introduction to Eurocode 2
Eurocode 2 norms are the rules and regulations for concrete infrastructure design that are accepted globally and have stood the test of time by delivering fail-safe and damage-safe structures. Construction firms and real estate organizations have always valued professionals who have such certifications which can be counted on without doubt. Having a Eurocode 2 certification adds immense value to an individual's work and provides immense opportunities and possibilities in terms of career prospects and value addition for the organization the individual already works in. This course comes highly recommended for building designers and engineers, bridge engineers, civil engineers and such professionals.
